The Austrian CrossBar brand NEOH and Conaxess Trade Switzerland has agreed on a long term partnership. Both parties believe in the delicious products and the huge potential to grow the brand NEOH in Switzerland. As of August, three NEOH bars will be available in 200 KKiosk stores. Conaxess Trade is delivering Supply Chain, Key Account Management and Trade Marketing services for NEOH to make this brand big in Switzerland.
We have been looking for a reliable partner to enter the Swiss market and with Conaxess Trade we found a partner who is highly motivated and fully committed to NEOH. We are delighted how Conaxess Trade supports and believes in our vision of a guilty free candyshelf.
– Adel Hafizovic, Co-Founder and CSO of NEOH.
The business case of NEOH and Conaxess Trade is a best practice case:
NEOH is a founder-owned brand already doing a great job in Austria and Germany with listings at major retailers. The products have been developed with the clear aim to fight sugar and with a lot of passion that you can feel while eating the bars. Conaxess Trade has been able to secure a substantial distribution in the leading Swiss convenience chain KKiosk (Valora) within short time. Thanks to the straight forward approach of NEOH, we are convinced that there is a big Swiss success story in front of us.
– Rafael Schaer, CEO Conaxess Trade Switzerland.
The story of the fight against sugar: The people behind NEOH don’t belong to a giant corporation that could afford to buy a top player at a well-known soccer club. They’re real people, like Manuel.
Manuel is an avid soccer player from Vienna who regularly drove out to the country to play. On the way back, he often craved something sweet, so he would stop off at the nearest gas station for a chocolate bar. With the bar in one hand, and his smartwatch showing him his calorie consumption on the other, he often felt guilty about his choice of snack! One time, his conscience got the better of him, and so after much deliberation (and after looking at the nutritional values), he opted for a protein bar instead. Which was great, except for the bland taste! He found himself asking: “Why isn’t there a bar that’s both healthy and tasty?” Manuel took matters in his own hands, studied nutrition and food processing, and experimented for three years to find the perfect formula for a delicious candy bar that was high in protein. During this time, he built up a small team comprising a party-mad marketing fanatic, a nit-picking project manager, a sales guy who acts like the main character from TV series Monk, and some fabulous business angels who are just as passionate about the business as he is. And the result of all this hard work is NEOH.
